WHAT IS A POP UP WEDDING AND HOW IS IT DIFFERENT THAN AN ELOPEMENT?

A pop-up wedding is a beautiful but temporary venue created that hosts a couple to say their vows in a short, intimate 90-150 minute ceremony. The organizers bring together all the professional wedding and specialty vendors needed to bring your vision to life, so all you have to do is show up. Pop-up weddings are about making it easy, less stressful and saving money for the couple. 

 

An elopement focuses on just the two of you, and if that’s what you're looking for, pop-ups fit the bill perfectly. But if you still want to share the moment with your closest friends and family you absolutely can – just on a smaller scale in terms of guest numbers, which are totals of 2-30. If venue allows we can offer services for larger guest counts for an additional charge.

CAN YOU CREATE A SMALL, INTIMATE SETTING AT THE DIFFERENT VENUES?

With the collaboration of our vendors and a little imagination the possibilities are endless. The venues we work with are chosen because they lend themselves to adaptation and a little out of the box thinking. Our goal is to always make the ceremony intimate and personal even if you're in a wide open field.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO HIRE A VENDOR THROUGH YOU?

For the Pop Up Wedding we've invited vendors that are not part of the package (ie. photographers, musicians etc.) to create add-ons, and they have created packages exclusive to add on to our pop up wedding. Each will be priced according to their skills and talents but definitely at a reduced price vs hiring them and paying for their regular packages.

For the Pop Up Weddings Days most vendors are included in the price, however, some of them offer additional services that you may want to inquire about. Pricing of these are worked out between the couple and the vendor. 

CAN WE STILL HAVE A RECEPTION?

Of course you can. In fact, it’s a lovely idea to have the wedding just with your family and closest friends and then head somewhere like a restaurant for a celebratory lunch or dinner with additional friends and coworkers or go all out and rent space for a big party. 
The main advantage is that it’s stress free and budget accessible. It’s about creating a beautiful foundation and letting couples build on that.

If you would like our assistance in creating a reception for you we have the vendors and the planners to make it happen. Although not priced as part of any package ,with our incredible vendors we can make it fun and less expensive than doing it on your own. 

CAN WE CUSTOMIZE THE SHARED POP UP WEDDINGS?

Because the idea is to bring costs down by sharing the day, elements such as commissioner, musician, photographer, the décor and styling remain the same throughout the day, with a focus on beautiful decor and detailed touches that will suit a variety of couples. Where there is the opportunity for personalisation is with personal touches to your ceremony, personal flowers, flavour of the cake and the music that plays before, during the signing of the documents, and after the ceremony. You're welcome to bring in your own special touches of decor to add to what's already in place. 

WHAT IF WE DON'T WANT THE CAKE OR WE WANT TO USE OUR OWN PHOTOGRAPHER FOR THE SHARED POP UP WEDDINGS?

The price of the Pop Up Wedding Days are priced according to the elements involved and being able to get a better price by ordering multiples for the day. If you decide to not have a cake / cupcakes that is fine we can remove them from your ceremony or you can take it with you but the overall price of the package will not be reduced.

You're welcome to hire a separate photographer for your ceremony especially if you'd like to go and do additional photos elsewhere before or after the ceremony but we will still use our photographer to take pictures for us, and you will get those pictures, but the overall price of the package will not be reduced. 

WHAT ARE THE TRUE BENEFITS TO THE SHARED POP UP WEDDINGS?

Well, the obvious answer is that it’s always less stressful to have someone else do all the work. That way you can just focus on the exciting bits, like writing your vows, and then turn up. But an even better answer is to remember that because you’re sharing the day with several couples, everyone contributes to the cost of the venue, styling and décor, commissioner, photographer and musician which adds up to some pretty significant savings. And that’s incredibly important to people who would rather use that money for something else like a really nice honeymoon or down-payment on a house.
